Adding the windows and doors
-

All the felt is now on the roof and it is watertight. Most of the shingles are on the front but because of high winds I decide to work on the opening for the sliding doors. Forms are attached and I am mixing the concrete.
-

The gales lasted for 5 days and nearly blew some of the shingles off, but I used the time to fit the sliding doors, with the help of "chainsaw" Jim.
-

We managed the bathroom window as well and now I am working on squaring the windows.

See you next week?
-
The window openings are framed in 2 by 4 and I have to make the shutters using my solar powered tools
-
"Chainsaw" Jim comes to help again
-
"No. That's the top, Jim". The shutters are all in place
-
2 shutters make a Dutch door. Skipper's cottage is now secure and the kitchen becomes a work room
-
Living quarters are arranged at the other end and the engine room becomes our bedroom.
