This is the cockpit at night all screened in and here we walk in the Dutch door to the cottage.

Work is in progress on the kitchen and bathroom. I am playing for my supper.

I finish the second porch wall

This is going to be the bedroom. The engine room is getting too crowded.

Everything is removed to the engine room. The wall is browned and the floor is levelled

Now for a skim of white cement
and a splash of English garden green

With the furniture moved in, I build the final bedroom wall

Missy has painted the interior and the "Club Med" furniture, and we have a real bed at last!

Now we start work on browning the rest of the cottage, starting with the kitchen

That's the gable end nearly done, now back to ground level

The board is to keep it level

A last bit of finishing off and Missy can have her kitchen back. We will do another skim with white cement later.

The living room is prepared for browning, starting with the office space

and continuing round the music room

After a skim of white cement on the office wall I put the shelf back and bring in the staging for the end wall

The bedroom is now our sanctuary, everywhere else is a mess

The white cement has lime in which makes the skin peel off my hands so now I wear rubber gloves

Missy has a go too, then I start to lay the tiles

Missy follows behind with the grouting and we move along

The living room emerges from it's cocoon and we can take a bit of a break.

Now it is the kitchen's turn for the treatment. Haven't I been here before?

A few finishing touches and Voila!
