Mark and Missy visit Toronto

June 2007

Our first day shopping and we arrived with an Arctic cold front. Took in the Eaton Centre, to keep warm!

The city has brilliant architecture and the famous sliding roof of the sports complex

Residential areas have typically Canadian signs...

The neighbourhood where we stayed with family

This is the house where Glenn Gould lived as a child

I loved the gardens, the wonderful styles and the sun, which finally showed up a few days later

All the homes in this neighbourhood, Scarborough, were lovingly maintained. Huge trees everywhere, and my sister's apartment building on Queen Street East

The view from her balcony, and our modus operendi....the trolley

The Beach, brrrrr, the street and a pint at the pub on Queen

Toronto is very clean, and it's CN Tower is visible from almost everywhere in the city

Waiting for the airport bus at the Royal York Hotel, and I am anxious to get home to thaw out!
